Here at Houston Gemach, we are driven by a single goal; to make a meaningful difference in our community. We draw on an intimate knowledge and understanding of the community as a whole and established relationships with its individual members to determine how to best leverage our resources to make a positive and lasting impact. We use a holistic and flexible strategy in our activities, like providing low/no-interest loans or direct grants, spearheading educational initiatives, and other timely projects. We provide acute help to individuals, or broad support for vital community organizations.

Operating since 2013 as The Hecht Serotta Gemach, a 501(c)(3) public charity, in memory of William & Celia Hecht and Paul & Jeanne Serotta.
